1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website.
2. Cookies we use
imposterhunter.com uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for aggregated traffic measurement and Calendly for scheduling demo calls. Both load only after you explicitly accept via the consent banner shown on your first visit.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Retention | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics 4 | Distinguishes unique visitors | 13 months (browser default) | Analytics, consent required |
_ga_<container-id> | Google Analytics 4 | Persists session state for GA4 | 13 months (browser default) | Analytics, consent required |
__cfduid | Calendly LLC | Cloudflare bot-protection on the embedded scheduler | Session | Analytics (third-party), consent required |
_calendly_session | Calendly LLC | Maintains the scheduling-flow session for the embedded widget | 1 year | Analytics (third-party), consent required |
ih-cookie-consent | imposterhunter.com | Remembers your consent choice (accepted/rejected) | 1 year (localStorage) | Strictly necessary |
The ih-cookie-consent flag is strictly necessary to honour your consent choice and is exempt from consent requirements under GDPR Article 6(1)(f) + ePrivacy Directive Article 5(3). All Google Analytics and Calendly cookies are loaded only if you accept in the banner.
3. Lawful basis
GA4 and Calendly are loaded under your explicit consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You may withdraw consent at any time by clearing cookies for this site or by using your browser's site-data controls.
4. Data flow
Google Analytics 4
GA4 sends pseudonymous event data to Google servers. We have configured GA4 with:
anonymize_ip: true: IPs are truncated before storageallow_google_signals: false: no Google-signals cross-device trackingallow_ad_personalization_signals: false: no advertising personalization
Google Ireland Limited acts as data processor in the EU; Google LLC acts as sub-processor in the US. International transfers are governed by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
Calendly
When you open the scheduler, Calendly receives the booking metadata you submit (name, work email, scheduled time, optional message). Calendly LLC is established in the US; international transfers from the EEA are governed by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). See Calendly's privacy notice at https://calendly.com/privacy.
5. Strictly necessary cookies
Some storage is required for the site to function. The ih-cookie-consent flag above is one example. These are exempt from the consent requirement under GDPR Article 6(1)(f) + ePrivacy Directive Article 5(3).
6. Your choices
You can:
- Reject in our consent banner: GA4 and Calendly will not load. The /demo page falls back to a placeholder with the team email.
- Accept in our consent banner: GA4 loads with the privacy settings above and the Calendly scheduler activates.
- Withdraw consent by clearing cookies and site data for this domain in your browser.
- Disable cookies entirely in your browser settings; the site continues to function with reduced features.
